Create new variable (name & value, and name & note)

Very often you have in cache descriptions text in form X=FOO, it would be convenient if solver could split on = to create a new variable with both name and value (or note when the other side of the "equation" is not a concrete value but a description) set.
It would be even better if it utilized some simple logic (like continuous sequence of letters with no whitespace/symbols -> name) as sometimes the name is not on the left side, but even the trivial lside=name rside=value would be very useful.
